Make your own hair mask

Have you ever tried making your own hair mask? If not, give it a go tonight. Here are our favorite recipes, with ingredients you (probably) already have at home. Perfect!

1. Perfect for dry hair

A true moisture boost
 
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. honey
 
1. Pour the ingredients in a bowl
2. Heat on low heat on the stove or in the microwave to melt.
3. Make sure the oil and honey are not too hot and apply to hair ends. Leave in for 15-30 minutes
4. Rinse out
 
Good for: Adding shine, moisture, and detangling hair.

2. Perfect for frizzy hair

Your hair will feel as good as it smells!
 
1 banana
2 tbsp. natural yogurt
1 tbsp. honey
 
1. Mash the banana in a bowl and add the yogurt and honey, or mix up in a blender.
2. Apply to damp hair and leave for 30-45 minutes
3. Rinse and wash with shampoo and conditioner as usual
 
Good for: Adding shine and deeply penetrating moisture, and minimizing frizz.

3. Perfect for damaged hair

Maximize your hair mask with moisturizing ingredients and protein.
 
1 avocado
2 eggs
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. coconut oil
 
1. Mash the avocado in a bowl. Mix in the eggs, honey and oil. Blend well.
2. Apply to hair ends.
3. Leave in for 15-20 minutes
 
Good for: Shine, moisture, supplying vitamins and protein for stronger hair.

4. Perfect for dull hair

The vitamin C in the strawberries is excellent for adding shine.
 
6-8 strawberries
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. honey
 
1. Mash the strawberries. Stir in the coconut oil and honey and mix well.
2. Apply to damp hair
3. Leave in for 10-15 minutes
 
Good for: Shine, moisture and a vitamin C boost.

5. Perfect for stronger hair

We know: this isn’t going to smell like roses. But it will be worth it when you see
the results!
 
2 eggs
3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
 
1. Combine the eggs and vinegar
2. Apply and leave in for 20 minutes

Good for: Strengthening, adding shine and moisture.
 
Hair masks have so many benefits! They offer an enormous boost and can be adapted to provide the desired results and to suit your hair type. It’s important to take care of extensions really carefully so that they last as long as possible.
